Electrical Engineer for TRIDENT at TDLI

Tsung-Dao Lee Institute (TDLI) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) invites applications for an electrical engineer position to work on the TRopIcal DEep-sea Neutrino Telescope (TRIDENT) experiment.

TRIDENT is a next-generation neutrino telescope, designed to swiftly identify multiple astrophysical neutrino sources upon becoming operational. The experiment will incorporate rapid photosensors and extended waveform readout electronics within a hybrid digital optical module (hDOM). This innovative design aims to notably enhance the angular resolution for high-energy neutrinos and the sensitivity across all neutrino flavors. When fully operational, the TRIDENT array will encompass approximately 1000 strings, monitoring a volume of around 7.5 km3. This will result in marked improvements in angular resolution for high-energy neutrinos and increased sensitivity for all neutrino flavors. Successfully candidate is expected to take leading role in the electronics system of the TRIDENT experiment, and will collaborate closely with other physicists and engineers at TRIDENT in all activities including project reviews and system tests.
